Global Grant Scholarship
The purpose of the Rotary 2015-16 Global Grant Scholarship
is to foster international understanding through graduate study in a foreign university with a concentration in one or more of Rotary International's 6 Areas of Focus
. The value of the scholarship is $ 30,000 for studies starting after July, 2015.
The scholarship may be applied to multiyear studies. However, the scholarship cannot be used to fund a candidate's studies in an existing graduate program.
Candidates must apply through, be interviewed and endorsed by a District 7980 Rotary Club.
Final decision of Global Grant Scholarship recipients is made by The Rotary Foundation. Sponsoring clubs will be responsible for submitting Global Grant Scholarship to TRF.
Deadline for applications to the District Scholarship Committee: January 31, 2015.
District Interviews will be held in March 1, 2015.
Rotary clubs may submit up to two applicants for District consideration.
Clubs will determine due dates for applications to their clubs.
